I'm glad that he's being eaten. So many people knock off a chicken that doesn't fit the flock or a rooster too many and then throw them away. This is better. Mmm, tastes like chicken. Ha ha.
Thank you for your support. Here is suburbia, we do take a bit of ribbing about eating the occasional "pet rooster". But amongst people who raise a lot of chickens, the stories I hear about the fate of many roosters is just heartbreaking...
